Hollister – Two men were arrested early Friday on suspicion of possessing more than three ounces of marijuana.

Joshua William Price, 28, of Morgan Hill, and Christopher Henry Carlos, 30, of San Juan Bautista, were arrested by the Hollister Police Department on several felony drug charges and conspiracy at Powell and Seventh streets at 1:30am Friday, police said.

Price, who was driving a 2001 Honda, was also arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence, said Officer Rosie Betanio, a spokeswoman for the Hollister Police Department.

Officers stopped the car just after midnight for a traffic violation, she said.

The driver was in possession of 3.35 grams of marijuana and 87.27 grams were found in one bag inside the vehicle, police said.

Police also found a scale in the vehicle, Betanio said.

Both Price and Carlos are being held at the San Benito County Jail in lieu of $33,000 and $30,000 bail, respectively.
