Hollister – The San Benito High School Board of Trustees will hold a meeting tonight to discuss the hiring of a new principal.

During the closed session, trustees are expected to consider the appointment of a new principal for the high school. Interviews began Wednesday for this position vacated by Debbie Padilla in early June. Superintendent Stan Rose reviewed the applicants Thursday.

The board will also be presented with a revised cafeteria budget. The initial budget had the cafeteria operating with a deficit of $205,000, causing concern for several board members. The new cafeteria budget, while still in the red, has decreased the deficit by $80,411.
