Hollister – Federal prosecutors have charged three men, including a Hollister resident, with possessing child pornography, a felony, as a result of a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation.

Mark Alfred First, 44, of Hollister, will make his first appearance at a United States District Court on Thursday, according to the United States Department of Justice.

Authorities believe First possessed images of child pornography on his Hewlett-Packard Pavilion computer in January 2005, according to the DOJ. Prosecutors seek the forfeiture of that computer, according to the DOJ.

If convicted of possessing child pornography, First could face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, according to the United States Code. He was formally charged Sept. 28.
