Highway 25 crossing closed next week

Commuters used to taking Highway 25 to Gilroy or beyond will need to find an alternate route starting Monday.

Union Pacific Railroad will be repairing the Hollister branch line at its crossing with Highway 25, according to a press release. The crossing, located east of Interstate 101 and west of Bolsa Road, will be closed from 7 a.m. Monday until 6 p.m. Friday. The repairs could be delayed due to weather.
