ROBBERY:

Unknown suspects robbed a Hollister man at knife-point, stealing $18 in cash and a Social Security card in the 200 block of First Street in Hollister at 3:38pm Friday, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects stole miscellaneous food and beverage items from the baseball concession stand in the 900 block of McCray Street in Hollister sometime between 10pm on Thursday and 4:30pm on Friday, police said.

Unknown suspects stole a Karl Walter .380-caliber pistol from a home in the 1100 block of Mulberry Court in Hollister sometime between 8am and 7:25pm on Friday, police said. Police believe the suspects also attempted to enter a neighboring home by prying open a screened window, but said the would-be thieves were unsuccessful in their attempts to break in.

DOMESTIC BATTERY:

Jeffrey Kievlan, 32, of 710 Hillcrest Road in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic battery, a misdemeanor, after allegedly kicking a woman and slapping her in the face near Seventh Street and West Street at 5pm Sunday, police said.

VANDALISM:

A 16-year-old Hollister resident was arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies after allegedly vandalizing an area home at 6:30pm Saturday, police said.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC:

Richard Morales, 33, of Gilroy, was arrested by Hollister police for public intoxication, a misdemeanor, after an argument in the 400 block of Seventh Street at 1:30am Saturday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
