Beloved spouse of the late Warren Lee Vanderzee, who passed away July 2, 2004. She is survived by her children; Kimberly Guzman and Rochelle Smith of Hollister, and Thomas Heidrick and his wife Diana of Kansas; as well as 10 grandchildren.
Judith was a native of San Diego, CA. She received her Associate of Arts Degree at Hancock College in Lompoc; her Bachelor’s Degree, and her Master’s Degree in early childhood development from Antioch College in Santa Barbara. Judith lived in Lompoc from 1972 until 1994 when she and her late husband moved to Hollister. Judith worked as a counselor with the Community Services Program in Morgan Hill. She was a 30 year member of Alcoholics Annonymous. “She was an avid reader, who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, was always willing to help people in need, and was an excellent roll model to her family”, said her children. Arrangements have been made for private cremation and inurnment. Friends are invited to a celebration of Judith’s life on Thursday, October 12th, at 4:00 P.M. at the chapel of the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St.,Hollister, CA 95023
