Kurtis Pedrazzi executed a near flawless exercise on the
horizontal bar at the 2004 Pacific Coast Classic in Oakland on
Sunday.
His high bar routine earned an amazing score of 9.75, rewarding
him with a first place medal in the event.

In the Class 6 (ages 12+), Pedrazzi also took home a second place medal on the pommel, a second place medal on the rings (9.1), a second place medal on the parallel bars, a fifth place ribbon on the floor and a second place all-around medal (52.35).

Class 6 (age 10) gymnast Vanya Avilla brought home a fourth place ribbon on the pommel. Class 7 (ages 12+) gymnast Darren Coates placed fourth on the parallel bars. And Class 7 (age 10) gymnast Kyle Brown won second place medals on the parallel bars and horizontal bar and a third place all-around medal.

The USA Sport Connection athletes will continue their 2004 USAG Junior Olympic season at the Tidal Wave Classic on Feb. 8.
