I am surprised that Mr. Pitschka is so dismissive of Nicolai
Kuminoff’s education and accomplishments. Being that he is an
educator himself, I would have thought him to be more supportive of
the effort it takes to gain a bachelor’s and master’s in science
and to complete a Ph.D. program.

Our committee provided the proponents of Measure G a FOUR-page document listing Mr. Kuminoff’s educational history as well as the many studies he has already published. One does not need to search far on the Internet to read further about his extensive research on ag issues in CALIFORNIA. He is not just “a college student.” He is an accomplished agricultural economist who will soon be a Ph.D. Yes, that will be Dr. Nicolai Kuminoff to all of us.
Please, do not be misled by the people who did not consult any economists or agriculturists before trying to force this measure upon us all. This study is balanced and provides several different scenarios for the effects of G on our economy and agribusiness. The net loss to our community is unacceptable; we can’t afford this measure.
Mr. Pitschka, if you do not agree with this study, that is your right, but please do not try to discredit Mr. Kuminoff or this study by ignoring his exceptional credentials in the field of agricultural economics.
Vote NO on Measure G.
