The San Benito County Office of Education is pleased to announce the winners of the San Benito County Junior High Spelling Bee Championship for 2014.
First place is Jerimya Beltran, a seventh grader from Maze Middle School.
Second place is Alex Vodanovich, a seventh grader from Sacred Hear Parish School.
Third place is Caden Bolding, a seventh grader from Spring Grove School.
Fourth place is Trent Hurtado, a seventh grader from Maze Middle School.
The Spelling Bee Championship was held on Feb. 26 at Ladd Lane School. There were 25 finalists. Jerimya Beltran and Alex Vodanovich will go on to represent San Benito County at the State Spelling Bee.
