Wow, 1500 cases on the D.A.’s desk! How is it humanly possible for one man to tackle that? Looks like John Sarsfield needs an Assistant D.A., not critics. And Robert Wilson wants his money’s worth. Well, he’s got his money’s worth.
With our president’s “tax reform” benefiting the wealthiest segment of our society, the counties and states lose. So goodbye to ample law enforcement, meaningful education, barely affordable healthcare and senior/ youth services. Hello to an ever-widening gap between the poor/working-class and the rich including lots of near minimum-wage jobs with no healthcare, skeleton crew law enforcement, fire and health services, over-packed classrooms with over-worked teachers focusing on mandatory testing, gang violence and charities picking up the slack with basic human needs like food, clothing and shelter.
How could anyone who pulls a paycheck vote for someone to continue slapping them in the face for four more years while saying with a straight face that he cares about Joe Average?
Gee, it makes enlisting in the armed services that much more attractive.
If we vote him in this time then we only have ourselves to blame. Get the phony cowboy out of Washington and punish him for not fulfilling his National Guard duty like those who really care about this county.
In a Republican controlled environment nearly everyone gets left behind.
And a word to those who don’t vote because they think it’s a lost cause… those in power are banking on it (sometimes with your life) that you won’t. Prove them wrong.
