The Anzar High girls soccer team looked to improve after a 3-1 defeat at Robert Louis Stevenson Wednesday.

“Last time they beat us 12-1,” said Hawks coach Jesse Martinez. “It was an improvement for us. But, RLS scored a goal five minutes in and we lost our composure. I wasn’t pleased about that.”

The Hawks (4-10-3, 4-9-2 Mission Trail Athletic League) had a goal from freshman Leanna Nicholson and 24 saves from sophomore Lesley Densmore.

The Hawks host King City Friday at 3:30 p.m.
