The Hawks defeated host Gonzales 50-35 Wednesday in a game rescheduled from Jan. 9.

Anzar (7-16, 4-11 Mission Trail Athletic League) had a whopping 24 points from Suzie Garcia, who made a living at the free throw line, shooting 12-of-17.

Amanda Link added 13 points for the Hawks while Cory Strasser had 9.

Anzar hosts Pacific Grove Saturday at 1 p.m. in their final game of the season.
