The Anzar boys cross country team took fourth in the Mission
Trail Athletic League finals Thursday at Toro Park.
The boys team secured a spot in the Central Coast Section finals
Nov. 15 at Crystal Springs. The girls team, which finished 7th,
will have to wait until Saturday to find out if it qualified. The
Division 5 boys race begins at 1:15 p.m.
The Anzar boys cross country team took fourth in the Mission Trail Athletic League finals Thursday at Toro Park.

The boys team secured a spot in the Central Coast Section finals Nov. 15 at Crystal Springs. The girls team, which finished 7th, will have to wait until Saturday to find out if it qualified. The Division 5 boys race begins at 1:15 p.m.

The boys team was led by sophomore Cisco Heath, who finished 12th with a time of 17:13. The other placers were Brad Wedekind (19th at 18:07) Sam Stewart (23rd at 18:41), Caleb Ellison (25th at 18:50), Danny Lowell (26th at 18:51), Alberto Mireles (37th at 19:38) and Kevin Parsons (38th at 1938)

The top finisher for the girls team was sophomore Mizzy Yoes, who came in in 25th place at 23:36. Sarah Wisoksi came in 29th at 24:32, Danielle Netzel came in 39th at 25:50, Jennifer Benson finished 40th at 25:55 and Bethany Ellison came in 41st with a time of 26:26.
