Here’s something to think about before voting for someone like
the darling Ruth Kesler ever again.
I am sorry to say, but I think the members of WATCHDOG had a lot

Here’s something to think about before voting for someone like the darling Ruth Kesler ever again.
I am sorry to say, but I think the members of WATCHDOG had a lot to do with getting her elected.
During the 2000 election, Ruth started the petition drive to stop the West of Fairview project (the 677 homes being offered by Hollister’s favorite outsider, Mikey Van Every) that we didn’t need, especially with sewage backing up in the streets and in people’s homes).
We knew she was doing it as a ploy to get elected, but we decided it needed to be stopped for the good of the community. So we helped her. The members of the WATCHDOG got over half of the valid signatures needed.
We knew our signatures were good because we had already started the WATCHDOG measure and we were already experienced in signature collecting.
The people that she had getting the rest of the signatures weren’t even properly instructed in collecting signatures, so the measure failed.
Prior to WATCHDOG getting her signatures, Ruth told us she would help us finish our measure.
Well guess what? To our surprise, after she was elected, she told us she couldn’t get involved and help us!
So because of her evil and dirty ways, we said we would do a county wide measure to stop evil people like her.
This was Ruth’s reply to members of WATCHDOG, “Oh no, you don’t want to do that because the Board Of Supervisors already passed a 1 percent growth cap.”
WATCHDOG’S reply was, “Yes that is good, but there is one problem with it: that it could be changed on any given Tuesday by the Supervisors. It needs to be put into place by the voters so it can only be changed by the voters.”
God’s honest truth, this was Ruth’s reply: “The people don’t always know what is right for them, that is why they elect us!”
So if you want someone in office who knows what is better for you than you do, she’s your candidate.
