Mickie Solorio Luna extended her lead over Victoria Montoya for the District 2 Hollister council seat, while Jerry Muenzer was holding on to a narrow advantage in the race for District 4 supervisor, according to the latest election results.
Those results released Wednesday evening showed Luna with 614 votes to 558 for Montoya, a 51.95 percent to 47.21 percent margin. They are vying to succeed former Councilman Robert Scattini, who moved into District 3 and lost in that race to Karson Klauer.
The incumbent supervisor Muenzer held a lead of 1,721 to 1,692 votes, or 50.32 percent to 49.47 percent, according to the results.
