The Hollister City Council on Tuesday approved an agreement with a manager for the July revival of a downtown motorcycle rally.

Council members approved the deal in a 3-0 vote. Councilman Ray Friend and Councilwoman Pauline Valdivia were absent, while Mayor Ignacio Velazquez was joined by Councilman Robert Scattini and Councilman Victor Gomez in giving the go-ahead.

The council Tuesday approved the deal with North Carolina-based Worldwide Dynamics and its CEO Mark Cresswell to hold the rally July 5 and July 6.
