Plans are moving ahead at this stretch near the Red Barn along Highway 101.

The Aromas Water District Board of Directors is set to meet Tuesday and consider voting on an agreement prepared by Caltrans related to the Highway 101 crossing at San Juan Road.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the district office, 388 Blohm Ave., Aromas.

The water district board will also recognize former Director Ernest Huggins whose term ended in November, review $5,000 in redemption bonds, weigh a revision for the Oakridge/Via del Sol project, and review a revised budget to reflect additional revenue.

As for the crossing, the board will review and vote on an agreement prepared by Caltrans to ensure the district’s prior rights to an easement at the crossing.

Aromas borders the crossing where Caltrans hopes to finish a $90 million interchange reconstruction by early 2014.
