Police on Thursday responded to bomb threats made over the phone to a local women’s shelter, but found no evidence of an explosive, according to the Hollister Police Department.
The threat was reported at about 11:45 a.m. from a women’s shelter, the address of which police withheld. Police did a full check of the building and found no evidence of explosives. Authorities evacuated the residents and took them to an undisclosed “safe zone,” according to a police statement.
