More than 50 California and out-of-state colleges are lined up for the 9th annual South County Cal-SOAP College Fair from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Student Center on the Gilroy High School campus.
“This is one of the ways Cal-SOAP can reach all students and parents in the four different districts that participate in the South County Cal-SOAP Consortium,” said Project Director Erin Gemar for the South County Cal-SOAP Consortium. The fair is open to all students and their parents from the South County area, including the Aromas-San Juan, Gilroy, Hollister and Morgan Hill school districts.
Higher education partners for the fair include Gavilan Community College, Cal State Monterey Bay, UC Santa Cruz, Santa Clara University and the Silicon Valley Foundation.
“The recent success of Cal-SOAP graduates and their college-going rate is a direct reflection of their support,” Gemar added.
No reservations are required. Door prizes will be available to all students in attendance, upon receipt of their evaluation of the event.
For more information or to make a door prize contribution, contact South County Cal-SOAP at (408) 846-7504.
