Shelter lets people name price for cats in November

For the month of November, the Hollister Animal Shelter is running a promotion that allows people to choose their own price for cats or kittens.
The promotion is called “It’s Raining Cats,” according to an announcement from the Hollister Police Department.
The shelter is located at 1331 South St. It is open noon to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
