Raymond Rodriguez is a San Benito High School trustee.

Assemblyman Luis Alejo recognized four veterans for valor by awarding them with the 2013 Veteran of the Year awards. Among those awarded was San Benito County veteran and high school Trustee Raymond Rodriguez.
According to Alejo’s office:
Raymond Rodriguez was a U.S. Navy Technician and was born in Calexico. Rodriguez worked as a technician in Florida for many years before moving to Hollister in 1989, when he worked at the SLAC National Accelerator Lab.
Rodriguez is a member of the League of United Latin American Citizens, a volunteer for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, a founding member of Parents and Students of Educational Justice, chairman for the Latino Studen Role Model Conference Committee and a wrestling coach. He is clerk for the San Benito High School District Board of Trustees.
“Our veterans risk their lives to protect American values and our freedoms,” said Alejo, D-Salinas, in a press release Friday.
