Former Hollister resident
Former Hollister resident Allan Richard Pryor died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003 at Palm Haven Nursing Home in Manteca. He was 71.
Mr. Pryor was born and raised and attended school in Hollister. He was the son of Martha Gilbraith and John Pryor, Sr. and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his son, Bobby Pryor of Tracy; his sister, Barbara Pryor of Tulsa, Okla.; his long-time friend, Betty Valentine; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Pryor, Jr.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
