The annual Aromas Country Garden Tour is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11.
The self-guided tour will include all types of old-fashioned gardens and orchards – while visitors might see an occasional bird, suck, chicken, goat or artist, as the Aromas Hills Artisans will be stationed along the path showing off their artwork.
The public is invited to the event at the Aromas Grange, at the corner of Rose and Bardue avenues. Tickets are a $15 donation, (tax-deductable) per person, $25 for two people and $10 for seniors (age 65 and older) and AHA members. Visitors will be given a booklet with a map of the gardens in it.
Additionally, two master gardeners will be on hand for questions, and the Aromas 4-H students will be there to sell plants and boxed lunches. The Aromas Water District will have a drought tolerant plant list available for free.
