Nadine Lee, from Hollister, and Kent McBride, from Oakdale, look at Darlene Boyd's acrylic and oil on canvas paintings at her San Juan Bautista home Saturday during the Open Sudios Art Tour.

A sneak peak of the San Benito County Arts Council’s 2015 Open Studios Art Tour will be on display in downtown Hollister starting next month.
The preview exhibition held at the council’s new home—the ARTsace, at 240 Fifth St., from April 3 to May 28—features the paintings, pottery, photography and glass work of 29 county artists.
The council will host a special kick-off party from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 10 where visitors can view the artwork, enjoy food and drinks, and celebrate this year’s group of talented, dynamic artists. The event is free and open to the public.
The preview exhibition will be followed later next month by the two-day Open Studios Art Tour, which allows participants to visit artists’ studios throughout the county from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 25 and April 26.
The San Benito County Arts Council made the exhibition possible with support from Gayle Sleznick, Sally Street Studios, Jane Rekedal Pottery, the Aromas Hills Artisans, Aromas Grill and California Arts Council.
