season against North Salinas on Tuesday.

The Balers (2-7) defeated North Salinas in Salinas, 4-3.

No. 1 singles player Andres Builes lost 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, and No. 2 singles Christian Builes lost 2-6, 3-6. No. 3 singles Cameron Barker won in two sets, and No. 4 singles Kirk Badger lost in split sets.

The Balers won all three of the doubles matches. The No. 1 doubles team of co-captain Spencer Gonzales and Andy Pringle won 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

The No. 2 doubles team consisting of Ryan Andrade, the other team captain, and Ryan Wood won easily in two sets.

The No. 3 doubles pair of Lucas Murrow and Mike Tobias won 6-3, 6-2.

The match last week against Salinas at Hartnell College was called due to rain. No. 1 and No. 2 doubles were not played. The team competes at Live Oak on Thursday.
