San Benito Babe Ruth held Opening Ceremonies for their Summer League last Friday at Veterans Memorial Park in Hollister.
Some 500 supporters were in attendance for the festivities and a fundraiser dinner, which kicked off the 54th season of San Benito Babe Ruth.
Former Major Leaguer Daniel Barone threw out the ceremonial first pitch, which was caught by his father, Dan Barone.
There are 10 teams that make up the Summer League, including 16- to 18-year-old teams like the Expos and Reds, as well as 13- to 15-year-old teams like the Astros, Athletics, Cardinals, Giants, Rockies, Tigers, White Sox and Yankees.
