with a 4-0 victory Sunday night in Texas.

Madison Bumgarner pitched beyond his years and the San Francisco Giants are on the brink of their first World Series title since 1954.
The 21-year-old rookie lefthander tossed a near-flawless eight innings, striking out six and keeping the heavy-hitting Texas Rangers scoreless as the Giants crept one step closer to the crown with a 4-0 victory Sunday night in Texas.
Brian Wilson retired the Rangers in order in the bottom of the ninth to save the win and a 3-1 series advantage heading into Monday’s Game 5.
Aubrey Huff put the Giants on the board in the third inning with a two-run home run deep to right field. Andres Torres doubled in Edgar Renteria in the seventh and Buster Posey lifted a solo home run to center in the eighth, providing more-than-enough runs for Bumgarner.
First pitch for Game 5 is scheduled for 4:57 p.m. local time. Tim Lincecum will take the mound for the Giants and Cliff Lee is on tap for the Rangers.
