The Hollister Junior League All-Stars will square off against Atlantic in the District 9 championship on Saturday at Salinas’ Muni Stadium.
First pitch is 1 p.m.
Hollister previously defeated Atlantic 5-0 in the semifinal round on Tuesday, and has since been waiting for an opponent to emerge from the elimination bracket.
Atlantic’s loss to Hollister placed them into the elimination bracket, where it defeated Hartnell 10-0 on Thursday to advance to Saturday’s final.
Since Hollister is currently undefeated, Atlantic will need to win twice in order to claim the D-9 banner. A second championship game, if necessary, is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. at Salinas’ Muni Stadium.
District 9 All-Star Tournament — Major Division
Hollister American will be up against King City on Friday night in the elimination bracket’s semifinal round at Ferrasci Little League field in Salinas.
First pitch is 5 p.m.
The winner of the game will advance to Sunday’s District 9 championship against Hollister National.
The championship is slated for 10 a.m. at Hartnell Little League field in Salinas. If Hollister National loses the first game, a winner-take-all second game will be played on Monday at Hartnell at 5 p.m.
Hollister National previously defeated Hollister American 9-0 on Tuesday in the semifinal round to advance to the D-9 final.
District 9 All-Star Tournament — 10-11 Division
Hollister American and Hollister National will square off in the District 9 championship on Friday at Gonzales Little League.
First pitch is 5 p.m.
Hollister American previously defeated Hollister National 14-6 during Monday’s semifinal round to advance to the D-9 final, while the loss forced Hollister National to battle back through the elimination bracket.
In the elimination bracket, Hollister National defeated Gonzales 9-1 on Wednesday to advance to the championship round.
If Hollister National defeats Hollister American in Friday’s game, a winner-take-all second game will be played on Saturday at Gonzales Little League, with a first pitch slated for 4 p.m.
District 9 All-Star Tournament — 9-10 Division
Hollister National will do battle with Soledad on Saturday for the District 9 championship at Salinas’ American Little League.
First pitch is 10 a.m.
Hollister National previously defeated Soledad 6-3 in Monday’s semifinal round, and have since been awaiting for an opponent to emerge from the elimination bracket.
Soledad, meanwhile, topped Hollister American 4-1 on Thursday night to advance to the D-9 final out of the elimination bracket.
A Soledad win on Saturday would force a winner-take-all second game for the District 9 championship, which would be held on Sunday at American Little League. First pitch would take place at 1 p.m.
