LAS VEGAS

Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero has landed in Las Vegas for his lightweight bout with Roberto Arrieta on Friday night from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

“Once I got on the plane heading out here, I knew that it was time to take care of business,” Guerrero said in a phone interview on Wednesday.

Guerrero and Arrieta are the main event for “Solo Boxeo Tecate,” which will air on TeleFutura. The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds.

This will be Guerrero’s (25-1-1, 17 KOs) first fight since an August 2009 victory over Malcolm Klassen to obtain the IBF Junior Lightweight title.

“I’m just zoning in and zeroing in on what I have to do,” Guerrero said. “I’m going over my game plan for the fight and getting ready.”
