giveaway at 10 a.m.

Graniterock career day
AROMAS – Graniterock will be hosting its third annual Construction Career Day May 14, at A.R. Wilson Quarry, in Aromas. The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a tour of the Quarry. Bruce W. Woolpert, president and CEO of Graniterock, will address the students and then they will be allowed to listen to presentations by more than 25 professionals representing construction and green building occupations. The career day will end at 1:30 p.m.

Saddle Horse Show Parade applications available
HOLLISTER – Applications are now available for the annual Saddle Horse Show Parade in downtown Hollister. The parade is June 24. They can be picked up at the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce office, 650 San Benito St., or by going to www.sanbenitocountychamber.com.
