Bertuccio’s Fruit Stand, a staple of the Hollister area, has expanded on its name. Its official moniker now is The Farm Bertuccio’s Market, the business recently announced.
The business that is located on Airline Highway near Union Road is owned by Joe Tonascia,
“Ownership hasn’t changed,” Tonascia said. “We’re trying to freshen things up. We’re trying to make it more user-understandable because of the products we carry.”
With the change, the business will change its labels and letterhead.
“People live in this town for 15, 16 years, and I still get them coming down saying we didn’t know where it was,” Tonascia said.
The business promotes that it offers varieties of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, watermelon, peppers, apples, apricots, oranges, and so much more.
