business. Briganti’s started off in Hollister out near the airport
20 years ago. While owner Mel Briganti has moved the business a
couple of times, the shop is now located at 857 Industrial Drive,
suite C.

Briganti’s Automotive is celebrating its 20th anniversary in business. Briganti’s started off in Hollister out near the airport 20 years ago. While owner Mel Briganti has moved the business a couple of times, the shop is now located at 857 Industrial Drive, suite C.
Briganti moved here from Southern California when he founded the business in August 1989. As a whole, combining his mechanic experience before moving here and his work on a General Motors assembly line for two years before that, Briganti has 32 years of experience in the automotive industry.
He noted to the Pinnacle how the industry has changed so much over the years and with the economy down as it is, Briganti’s moved to a “leaner and meaner” shop out on Industrial Drive to downsize a bit.
“It’s really, really changed vastly since the time I got into it,” he said.
