Bill Mifsud of Bill’s Bullpen will be hosting Free Comic Book Day Saturday at his Fourth Street shop. The event is worldwide, and according to a press release from Mifsud, as many as two million comic books will be given away around the world.

“The wide array of comic books being published today ensures that readers of all ages – children, teens and adults – can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations,” Mifsud wrote.

This will be the eighth year that Bill’s Bullpen has participated in the event.

“Even if you have never picked up a comic book, stop into Bill’s Bullpen because you never know what you will end up finding,” he wrote.

Regular updates, information about comic books and a list of participating publishers, and their free comics, is available online at www.FreeComicBookDay.com.

The event will kick off at Bill’s Bullpen, 207 Fourth St., at 10 a.m. and run while supplies last. For more information, call 636-1180.
