Jarod and Holly Forth opened San Benito Pasta on Sixth Street in June, with the business featuring frozen varieties of prepared ravioli.

But with customers continuing to ask about fully prepared offerings, the business recently began offering an array of take-out items, and for relatively inexpensive prices.

The Forths are now offering a mix of ravioli, spaghetti and calamari as main items on the take-out menu, while also having meatballs and garlic bread as side choices. They do ask that customers call ahead with 30 minutes notice because they cook the food fresh, Holly Forth said.

“Everybody kept coming in saying, ‘We want it hot – we want it cooked,” she said.

San Benito Pasta, of course, will continue to offer its frozen varieties as well in two- and five-pound bags, she noted, while it also offers its signature sauce.

The business’ menu also has an array of Gizdich Ranch pies and local olive oil.

For those interested in ordering one of the many pies offered at the store, San Benito Pasta is asking for orders by Nov. 18.
