The city of Hollister has extended its agreement with Gavilan Aviation.

City extends deal with airport operator
The city recently agreed to extend its agreement with Gavilan
Construction
– which goes by Gavilan Aviation – for an additional 10 years
after the current deal expires at the end of 2020.
As part of the agreement to extend the lease that started in
January 2001, council members have agreed to give Gavilan Aviation
rights as the fixed-base operator agreement until 2030. It involves
Gavilan being allowed to keep 20 percent of lease amounts collected
at T-Hangars 11, 12 and 13, according to the staff report from a
December meeting.
In exchange, the city can freely adjust the fuel flowage fee
starting in July. As the deal stands now, part of a stipulation
that began in 2006, the city receives 0.05 cents for each gallon
dispersed there.
