Downtown Wachovia transitions to Wells Fargo
The downtown Hollister Wachovia Bank is transitioning to Wells
Fargo, as locals might tell from the covered sign at the Sixth and
San Benito streets location.
Wells Fargo

amp; Co. in late 2008 acquired Wachovia Corp., while the company
has been rolling out the changeover as part of a three-year plan to
do so. Wells Fargo customers already can use the ATM machine
outside the downtown Wachovia. The bank center, meanwhile, plans to
start serving Wells customers’ accounts inside the store in about a
month.
As of Pinnacle press time, the new sign still was covered in
anticipation of the expanded offerings.
