Byron “Barney” Loek passed away May 17th, 2009. He was 80 years old. He was in the U.S. Navy from
1950-54. He was the service manager at Moore
Buick in Los Gatos, CA for nearly 30 years. He had a great life that included his love of bass fishing. He was
a charter member of Bass Classics of SC Valley and
Bay Area Bass Masters.
He will be dearly missed by many including
his children, Randy Loek, Diane (Josh) Weggeland ,
Richard (Mary) Loek, Wendy (Steve) Freedman, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his loving companion Joan Atkisson. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Janice Olson-Loek , daughter Debra Loek. Memorial Celebration will be held August 16th, 2009, at Morgan Hill Community
