The Hollister City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to re-appoint members to two panels – the planning commission and parks and recreation commission.
The city has three open seats on its planning commission because the terms expired June 30. Nobody applied aside from the current commissioners. Those members are in line for re-appointment and include Charles Scott, appointed by Pauline Valdivia, Helen Ross, appointed by Ray Friend, and Gabriel Torres, appointed by Mayor Victor Gomez.
On the parks and recreation commission, Laura Miller is set for a re-appointment. The terms of the commissioners, if ratified, expire June 30, 2012.
Tuesday’s meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
