On Oct. 10, the Hollister High Scarlet Regiment Band united the past, present and future at their annual Pep Band Crossover Event. This beloved tradition brings together the talented musicians of Hollister High School with incoming middle school students, giving them a taste of the excitement of a high school football game.

Joining in on the fun were the Rancho Maze Band & Color Guard, the Hollister Youth Music Network and Spring Grove Elementary Music programs, all under the guidance of dedicated directors Mr. Adam Martinez, Ms. Susan Silveira, and Ms. Robin Horne.

Over 200 Baler alumni, artistic directors, and, both current and future high school performing artists came together to showcase their skills in a variety of musical and visual arts performances at the football game.

During halftime, the Scarlet Regiment Marching Band took center stage to showcase their competitive performance, which earned them first place at the Western Band Association Gilroy Garlic City Classic, Class 2A the following weekend.

It was a night of collaboration, talent and community spirit, showcasing the best of Hollister’s music programs.

The Rancho Maze Band is a school-based nonprofit organization which both flourishes and heavily relies on the support from thoughtful individuals.
