Workers on July 14 put up the letters at the Tres Pinos Road location.

The Dollar Tree store in Hollister destroyed by a December 2013 fire is preparing to reopen soon.
Final work was under way Tuesday at the Hollister store, which is filling up on the inside with a familiar Dollar Tree look. On the outside, contractors were placing the letters on the main sign.
Personnel with the general contractor on site confirmed the work will be done this week with plans for an opening at the end of the month and a possible job fair of some sort before then.
There was just one official last step with regard to the city, according to a building official.
“They are about to pick up their permit for the (tenant improvements),” Building Official Greg Johnson said Tuesday. “They’re just moving real slow.”
A December 2013 fire destroyed the building that housed Dollar Tree, Larry’s Liquors and Neighborhood Pizza. Permitting and construction work have been under way at the 550 Tres Pinos Road site since earlier in the year.
Dollar Tree months ago received a site and architectural review approval for an expansion at the 550 Tres Pinos Road location, a 13,400-square-foot site in total.
Next door, it appears Grocery Outlet at some point is moving into the neighboring location currently occupied by Goodwill and Hi Outlet at 550 Tres Pinos Road. Emeryville-based Grocery Outlet has pulled a liquor license for the 550 Tres Pinos Road location, although there is no other information immediately available on specific plans for the site.
