Monica Elizabeth Cannon and Daniel Joe De Vries of San Juan Bautista have announced their plans to marry Feb. 15.
Cannon is the daughter of Mr. Lee Cannon and Ms. Sheril Phillips of San Ramon, and De Vries is the son of Ruth and Donald J. De Vries of San Jose.
The couple announced their engagement on July 4 at Bacara in Santa Barbara and have planned a Feb. 15 wedding in Carmel.
Cannon is a graduate student in psychology at John F. Kennedy University and works as a school counselor at Pacific Grove Middle School.
De Vries is an attorney with the law firm of Fenton & Keller in Monterey. He received his juris doctor from the University of the Pacific.
