Erickson named Cannella’s volunteer of the year

Sen. Anthony Cannella announced Ruth Erickson as the 12th district Volunteer of the Year.
Cannella noted in a statement released this week that Erickson has volunteered for dozens of agencies and organizations for more than 30 years.
The announcement says Erickson has been volunteering for the library for more than three decades and was active in the Measure A Committee connected to gaining control of San Benito Street from Caltrans.
