putting on a mile-run May 31 to raise funds for the local animal
shelters.
Erik Rodriguez is a 2008-09 4-H All-Star candidate and he is putting on a mile-run May 31 to raise funds for the local animal shelters.
The mile run is open to the community. The fee is to bring cat or dog food, clumping litter or other dog and cat supplies that local shelters can use.
For anyone who would like to make a donation and can’t make the mile-run, drop off donations at the 4-H office at the Veterans Memorial Building.
Rodriguez has been involved with 4-H for eight years and is currently a junior at San Benito High School.
The event will be at the north end of Bolado Park from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. May 31. For more information on the event contact Rodriguez at 636-3170.
