The San Benito County Farm Bureau is sponsoring a summer reading program for children ages 5-12 on Wednesdays this summer, with weekly gatherings at the San Benito County Free Library.
The reading sessions are a partnership with the library, which runs its own summer reading program for participants up to age 18. The events are 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
This week, the queen of the San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo was scheduled to read to the children, while Congressman Sam Farr will do so next week.
