The second quarter started when Ryan Miller intercepted the ball on Salinas 30-yard line and returned it for a 70-yard touchdown to extend the score to 12 -6. Salinas responded on a long pass play on its next possession to even the score again

But the Vikings rallied back on a 20-yard touchdown run from Felice through a wide open hole carved by the big Viking line.

The Vikings opened the second half with another impressive drive, scoring on a 20-yard run from Felice. Salinas, though, refused to give up, answering back on a 45-yard touchdown run to bring the score to 25-20.

In fourth quarter, the Vikings found themselves in Salinas’ red zone once again and on fourth down from the 1-yard line, Felice scored again to increase the Viking lead to 32-20.

The Vikings, though, put an exclamation point on the win when Felice, again, plowed through the Salinas defense for a 65-yard run to give Hollister 39 points.
