The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for San Benito County in effect through 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The advisory covers San Benito County along with the San Jose and Salinas areas. It also covers parts of the North Bay including Santa Rosa, according to the advisory.
The weather service issued the alert after 2 a.m. Tuesday. It is expected to affect mountainous areas of San Benito County along with parts of Pinnacles National Park.
The local forecast otherwise calls for mostly clear skies in the days ahead with a possibility of more rain Sunday.
