The latest campaign expenditure reports for the Hollister City Council District 5 race show Victor Gomez and David Huboi’s campaigns had been more active from Oct. 1 through Oct. 18 than that of Roy Iler, who still remains by far the biggest fundraiser and spender among the three.

During that period – the reports were due by 5 p.m. Thursday – Gomez had raised $1,456 and spent $841 while Huboi raised $1,499 and spent $1,838. Iler, meanwhile, had raised $700 and spent $740.

Overall through Oct. 18, Roy Iler had raised the most at about $11,286, while Victor Gomez had raised $4,466 and David Huboi had raised $4,663, according to the documents.

Their activities through Oct. 18 had left Iler at the time with $3,267, Huboi with $1,731 and Gomez with $991, according to the documents. The next deadline for campaign activity between Oct. 19 and Oct. 30 is Friday.
