Erick Justesen and John Ellis have another shot at PGA Tour victory near their old stomping ground.
The Live Oak High graduates have been added to the field for the Frys.com Open, beginning Thursday at CordeValle Golf Club.
Justesen tied for second at 2-under-par 70 in Monday’s Frys.com Open Qualifier at Bayonet Course and prevailed in a three-man playoff to decide the final tournament berths.
Ellis, meanwhile, received a sponsor exemptions for the Frys.com Open, tournament director Ian Knight announced Monday. Ellis tied for 24th last year.
Hollister’s Mark Mallin missed the cut Monday at 12-over.
