Would you like to make a difference for better government and a better place to live?

Grand jurors are needed as the county’s watchdog agency with the power to examine those operations of the county and city governments which are deemed questionable. Inspections are also conducted of the school districts and other special districts, like adult and juvenile detention facilities, local law enforcement, etc.

Residents of San Benito County who are at least 18 years old and U.S. citizens residing in the county for at least one year before serving are invited to apply. You can expect to serve at least 20 to 25 hours per month.
