Bluegrass Festival

The Northern California Bluegrass Society is putting on its 22nd annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival at the San Benito County Historic Park. It is set for Friday through Sunday, and includes acts on a stage along with a tree-filled, shady campground for tent camping and a spacious meadow for RVs.

Hollister Concerts

Get your tickets for The Long Run, tribute to The Eagles with an opening performance from Fortunate Son, a tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival. It is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Guerra Cellars, 500 John Smith Road.

San Juan Bautista Antique Fair

An Antique & Collectibles Fair that is hosted by San Juan Rotary Club is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14 in San Juan Bautista. For more, call (408) 804-3235.

Pre-Fair Dinner

The 33rd District Agricultural Association kicks off fair season with the annual Pre-Fair Dinner & Fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will be held at Bolado Park Event Center in the Pavilion. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the presentation of the 2016 San Benito County Fair. The Pre-Fair Dinner & Fundraiser begins with a social hour featuring Bluegrass music, a silent auction, mystery boxes, and the opportunity drawing for themed baskets provided by 4-H clubs, FFA, and the Bolado Park Youth Ambassador Program. Additionally, a live auction and reverse drawing will keep the fun-filled evening packed with excitement. Tickets for the event are $35 per person and can be purchased from the fair office or call (831) 628-3421.
